The Rising, è un nuovo singolo di Bruce Springsteen, primo estratto dall’album omonimo uscito lo scorso 30 luglio.
Il brano, è invece stato pubblicato circa un mese prima ovvero il 24 giugno 2012.
Il testo del’inedito, è dedicato al famoso attacco terroristico alle torri gemelle dell’11 settembre 2001, narrando le vicende di un pompiere, che cerca di salire su una delle 2 torri in fiamme…
